At Sandra Ward's Studio you will find limited class sizes, a large studio space and great environment to work in. Your Instructor is a working artist with 23 years of teaching experience and a passion to share her knowledge with others. Each class is tailored specifically to your age and skill level. You will get a chance to flex your creative muscles, hone your craft and have fun doing it!
GROUP INSTRUCTION
Intro to Art Fundamentals - Ages 6-12
M - 4:30-5:30pm & 6:00-7:00pm W, F - 4:30-5:30pm
Students will learn the basics of drawing, both line and shading. They will learn to depict a 3-dimensional object on 2 dimensional paper. I will also teach the necessary elements required to complete a successful drawing and painting. Each student will become proficient at using various media such as graphite, charcoal, pen and ink and paint. Class sizes are no larger than 8 which allows for more individual attention. Art Fundamentals - Ages 13+
T - 4:30-5:30pm
This course takes students from drawing to sculpture and everything in between. Students explore 2D and 3D design, experiment with simple relief making techniques, construction, drawing, and painting to create unique multi media works. Art Exploration - Adults
W- 1:00-3:00pm Th - 7:00-9:00pm,
This course allows students to explore the drawing or painting method of their choice over a 6-week period. Students are encouraged to experiment with varying techniques and applications of their chosen media while letting their imaginations run wild. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Portfolio Preparation - Teen - Adult

You will work one-to-one with your instructor to develop individually focused and
discipline-specific portfolios. Each meeting includes individual critiques, assignments

One-on-One Art Class - Ages 6-Adults

This unique opportunity allows a student to personalize their own curriculum and work one-on-one with a professional painter and mixed media artist. Classes are typically an hour in duration. Book as many sessions as you like! Please note your desired date(s), age, and area(s) of interest in the comments section of your online (or printed) registration form.

Wacky Wine-days (Private Group) - Adults

Enjoy a private 2 hour session of painting with friends or family. All materials are included. Munchies provided. BYOB. Group Discounts apply: 1-6 painters-$50ea. 8-9 painters-$45ea. 10 painters-$40ea.
